 Dr. Brandon Whitecotton was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. A proud Spartan, he graduated from Springfield High School in 2014. He continued his education at Kent State University receiving a BS degree in Biology. Well-rounded and multi-talented, he was socially and academically active. While at Kent State he engaged in campus life as a resident assistant, serving on the board of the pre-dental association, and taking part in the glass blowing club.

Dr. Whitecotton earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. Once again he stood out as socially conscious as he was awarded a scholarship for “CARE” which was focused on serving populations with decreased access to healthcare while being an active member of the Dental Anesthesiology Club and Dental PRIDE alliance. He was fortunate to spend a year training in Ohio State’s General Practice Residency clinic while still in school. This allowed him to expand his skills and develop a passion for surgical procedures in the dental field. 

Dr. Whitecotton is also fun and enthusiastic about libations! He loves all things coffee and brewery. He adores spending time with his wife and their two little girls outdoors at various parks and playgrounds. Akron is home and they are excited to be back with friends and family while serving the dental needs of their community.

  Dedicated to the best dental care experience for our patients, Dr. Sarah disproves the rumored brain drain. She is local, graduating from Chippewa High School in 1997.  An athlete and a scholar, her interest in healthcare was evident early on. She majored in Biology and Chemistry at Walsh University while running track and cross country. 

Her commitment to serve all led her to become a firefighter and EMT and dedicate 7 years to her hometown Marshallville Fire Department. She wanted to change lives a smile at a time and realized dentistry was her passion. She received her Doctorate in Dental Science Degree from Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 2005. It should come as no surprise that she was awarded the Carl O. Boucher Award in Prosthodontics and the Operative Dentistry Award that same year. By the way, she did not relinquish her athleticism that year. She also ran the Boston Marathon.

Three years later she married Salvatore Oliverio. (He may have made her weak in the knees. She can no longer run but does lift weights!) The Oliverio’s are blessed with 12 year old twins, Salvatore and Stella. 

Dr. Oliverio and her husband Salvatore reside on a 30 acre hobby farm with their 12 year-old twins.  They spend time attending their kids sporting events and raising beef cows.

 Born and raised in Europe, Dr. Petrov came to the United States to further his education and pursue his passion for healthcare. After earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees in New York, he set his sights on Ohio, where he attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.

From an early age, Dr. Petrov knew he wanted to work in the medical field. While serving as a research assistant in a genetics lab during his undergraduate years, a professor recognized his exceptional hand skills and keen attention to detail—encouraging him to explore a career in dentistry. Inspired by the challenge and the opportunity to make a direct impact on people’s lives, Dr. Petrov embarked on a demanding yet rewarding journey into the field. Looking back, he wouldn’t change a thing.

As a dedicated dental professional, Dr. Petrov prioritizes patient relationships and long-term oral health. He takes pride in his hands-on approach and finds immense satisfaction in restoring smiles. "There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient’s reaction after a transformation. When they smile and say, ‘Thank you,’ it’s a truly humbling experience."

Outside the office, Dr. Petrov enjoys staying active, reading, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his girlfriend and their dog.
